Duane Morris LLP seeks a commercial finance associate to join its strong and growing 190+ lawyer Corporate Practice Group, ideally in its Chicago office. The preferred candidate has 5-6 years of solid and meaningful experience in one or more of the areas of acquisition financing (leverage finance), agented syndicated secured financings (cash flow or asset-based), and healthcare financings, with a working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC. Background/experience in intercreditor and subordination agreements; real estate finance, a plus. Candidate should have strong drafting and negotiating skills, a desire for client contact and doing deals, opportunity to work directly with the Practice Group Chair and have an outgoing and engaging personality. A strong academic background is required as well as meaningful law firm experience on sophisticated transactional matters. Large law firm or commercial finance boutique experience preferred.
