Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer - Philadelphia

SUMMARY: The right candidate will manage and support the firm's global network infrastructure. Provide network design, support, implementation and documentation. Specialize in switching, routing and security. Manage, configure and troubleshoot all network infrastructure hardware (e.g. Routers, Firewalls, LAN Switches, Load Balancers, WAN Accelerators, SD-WAN appliances and Wireless Devices). Will also work closely with multiple groups (internal and external) and manage projects in order to provide security and connectivity through the firm's global network



  • Implementing, configuring and upgrading large complex production infrastructure
  • Directly working with service providers to resolve outages and initial activation.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues
  • Developing detailed documentation and diagrams as required
  • Equal participation in 24x7x365 on-call coverage is required



  • Must have 10+ years of direct network engineering and support experience
  • 5+ years of infrastructure management experience
  • Expert knowledge of WAN Technologies (e.g. Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Private Line and MPLS); expert knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model
  • Experience with network management and analysis tools (e.g. SNMP, NetFlow and Traffic Analyzers); Experience with a variety of router and switch hardware (Cisco leaf/spine technology preferred)
  • Strong technical skills with in-depth knowledge of data networking and extensive knowledge of IP routing and IP routing protocols (OSPF and BGP) plus QoS technologies
  • Strong hands-on skills with extensive experience in the troubleshooting and solving complex network related issues
  • Good communication and documentation skills are a must
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record as a team player
  • Project management experience
