Duane Morris LLP seeks a highly qualified associate to join our tax practice in our corporate practice group in our Miami or New York office. Candidates should have at least 4-6 years of experience in transactional tax work, including cross-border planning and implementation. The tax group works closely with the firm's corporate practice and advises corporations, partnerships, LLCs and other joint ventures and investment funds, as well as high net worth individuals and their closely-held businesses, on a variety of tax matters including mergers, acquisitions (both domestic and cross-border) and divestitures, transfer pricing, tax minimization strategies for multinationals and estate and trust planning and pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning for individuals. Such planning also includes family office, private equity and real estate transactional and fund formation advice. Applicants must have outstanding writing and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, a commitment to excellence and be friendly and collegial. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, and fluency in other languages a plus. Bar required in jurisdiction of practice. Hybrid work environment available.
The target annual pay range for this role is $260,000-$320,000. Positions outside of FL and NY will be subject to annual pay ranges specific to the market for that particular geographic location. Actual pay will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience, skill-set, current business needs and market factors. The compensation range listed is just one component of Duane Morris' total comp package for employees, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and incentive packages, and firm-sponsored benefit programs. .
