SUMMARY: Our Private Client Services team provides complex, sophisticated estate planning and estate and trust administration services to individuals, charitable organizations and fiduciaries. The Estate and Trust Administrator will provide wide ranging and substantive administrative and junior paralegal support to the group.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Serves as main point of contact for the maintenance and upkeep of the Private Client Services department document database (“Will Vault”)
• Processes incoming original documents by verifying completeness; sorts, codes and stores original documents according to Will Vault procedures
• Provides administrative assistant services to attorneys in the group as needed
• Assists with estate administration projects including large estate tax filings (exhibit assembly, certified mail, etc.)
• Assists with annual gift tax filings (maintenance of gift tax return ledger, extension preparation and filing, exhibit assembly, certified mail, etc.)
• Assists with trust administration projects including annual client notice letters
• Prepares required reports/disclosures in connection with Corporate Transparency Act compliance
• Assists with capital calls and completing subscription documents
• Assists with additional various junior level paralegal tasks as requested
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Highly organized, detailed oriented, industrious and well-rounded individual
• Post-high school education required
• 1-2 years of related administrative experience is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs and use a ladder to climb/reach items
• Position requires working onsite 5 days per week

PAY TYPE: HOURLY - ANNUAL PAY RANGE: $55,000-$65,000
Please Note: The hourly and/or annual salary amount is based on a *good faith* compensation analysis in pursuant of New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL) listed under *Senate Bill 9457*. Final starting salary/wage is dependent on the candidate’s experience level, industry expertise, skills and other factors that are defined in the job description.
