JOB TITLE:  Payroll Coordinator

SUMMARY:  The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for supporting in the payroll operations involved in the analyzing/processing of time and earnings for all Associates and staff of the Firm. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Will Responsible for the analysis, calculation and processing of all payments, including base pay and related increases, overtime, vacation, sick and other transactions. 
  •  Will also process voluntary and involuntary deductions, including taxes, insurance premiums, 401(k), parking, garnishments, non-accrued time off, and other transactions.  

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.  
  • Minimum of 2 years of related payroll experience along with ADP payroll system or comparable application required
  • Working knowledge of technical tax and accounting principles and skills related to payroll processing
  • Strong mathematical/statistical aptitude
  • Must be very detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fact paced environment
  • Interested in candidates that possess excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
