SUMMARY:  The Web Content Administrator is responsible for contributing to the development, management, and optimization of the law firm’s public website content to ensure it aligns with the firm’s brand, legal standards, and business objectives. This role involves collaborating with attorneys, marketing, business development and technical teams to produce engaging, accurate, and SEO-optimized content that enhances the firm’s online presence and supports client acquisition and retention efforts.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive web content strategy that supports the firm’s goals and brand positioning
  • Write, edit, proofread, and publish high-quality, legally compliant content for attorney bios, and portions of news, practice descriptions, blogs and client alerts.
  • Use content management systems (CMS) to publish and update website content and troubleshoot issues.
  • Optimize website content for SEO and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all digital content.
  • Coordinate with design and technical teams to enhance site usability and performance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and business development professionals to gather information and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct regular content audits to keep information current and legally accurate
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure timely publication of new material.
  • Monitor website analytics and user engagement metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay current with legal industry trends and digital marketing best practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in web content oversight and execution, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to translate complex legal topics into clear, client-friendly language.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including attorneys and business development professionals.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Strong HTML skills required
  • Familiarity with CSS and digital design tools is a plus.
