JOB TITLE: Project Manager
DEPARTMENT: Real Estate and Facilities
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SUMMARY: Experienced and professional Project Manager who plans, implements, and manages assigned internal commercial construction projects and all associated tasks, reporting to the Design and Construction Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the planning and implementation of assigned office projects, which shall include, but not limited to, RFP process, permitting, construction, furniture delivery and installation, office moves, completion of punch list items, close out of the project, and other items as the project dictates
- Develop RFPs for design services and general construction services
- Work with management on architect selection, general contractor selection, site surveys, construction document reviews, and submittals
- Plan out all phases of office renovations, relocations, and openings including design, bid process, permitting, construction, furniture delivery/install, office move (if applicable), and office opening
- Manage communications of project progress to leadership and internal service departments
- Collaborate with relevant service departments at the firm to ensure seamless project completion
- Build strong relationships with contractors, construction workers, vendors, office building personnel, and internal service departments
- Develops and adheres to the project budgets, timelines, and quality controls
- Follow up to ensure everything is as expected and that there are no outstanding issues
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration or a related degree.
- 5 years of construction experience and/or experience at legal/professional services firm/company in Real Estate and Facilities environment
- Familiar with construction project management software
- Construction project management certification a plus
- Position requires intermittent travel as well as occasional weekend work
