Duane Morris LLP is looking to add an associate with between 3-6 years of hands-on experience for its growing Employment Practice Group in its New Jersey or Philadelphia offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of employment litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, preparing for and handling depositions, conducting witness interviews, motions, preparing EEOC position statements and responses to state agency charges, and experience in transactional employment work, including preparing arbitration, severance and other types of employment agreements and supporting the employment aspects of corporate transactions. Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies and assisting clients with employment training programs is also desired. Ability and experience to work in traditional labor matters is a plus. Superior academic and writing credentials. Flexibility as to location in New Jersey or Philadelphia along with joint NJ/PA bar admission (or the ability to obtain/waive-in). EOE/AA/M/F/D/V.
