Real Estate and Leasing Manager - Philadelphia

Job Title: Real Estate and Leasing Manager

Department: Real Estate and Facilities

Summary: The Real Estate and Leasing Manager will use their strong negotiation and deal making skills to manage real estate and real estate transactions at our 30+ locations in the US, UK and Asia.


  • Identify and strategically plan for the needs of the firm with regards to office openings, relocations, and right-sizing and engage real estate brokers to provide and gather and evaluate market information based on those needs
  • Travel to meet with prospective landlords and to evaluate locations under consideration
  • Negotiate and finalize business terms on lease documents and work with in-house counsel to finalize lease documents
  • Maintain market knowledge of key real estate indicators
  • Implement all corporate real estate strategies in collaboration with Firm leadership, including construction, leasing, facilities management, property services and internal departments
  • Manage and coordinate the opening of new offices and space planning (layout and design), construction and renovation projects, facilities repairs, and major building management/leasing issues
  • Exercise economic discretion and cost efficiency for all related matters
  • Provide support services, equipment and facilities necessary to assist the firm’s attorneys and staff to function in a highly productive manner
  • Work closely with in-house design/construction team and Lease Administrator

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or similar area of study
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of corporate real estate (law firm experience a plus)
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Business financial analysis and accounting knowledge
  • Excellent program/project management skills
  • Legal and business acumen
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial real estate, property management, operations and maintenance, design and construction, facilities space planning and moving/relocation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Light to moderate travel required
