Duane Morris has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Junior lawyer to augment its dynamic International Construction and Engineering Practice in London. The candidate must demonstrate both contentious and transactional experience or alternatively a desire to undertake and specialize in both. International arbitration track record, and experience in dealing with the prevalent arbitration rules in the Singapore and the Malaysian markets is desirable. The role will entail providing support and interacting with the US and the Asia Pacific (Singapore in particular) construction and engineering teams. In particular the candidate shall have experience of the construction and infrastructure sector in Singapore, Malaysia and the wider southwestern Asian economic block. Ideally the candidate will be proficient in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), Malay or Bahasa Indonesia.
Candidates who possess strong academic credentials, superior drafting ability, a quick-study aptitude and the ability to engender client confidence and who thrive in a creative, entrepreneurial and collegial environment are encouraged to apply.
