Records Processor

The ideal candidate will have at one year least one year of legal records experience or other on the job related experience preferred (i.e. customer service related experience). This position will support the operation, maintenance and upgrading of the existing records management system. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Processing incoming requests relating to corporate and litigation documents
  • Sorting pleadings/discovery documents
  • Conducting electronic research, folder retrieval and database updates
  • Supporting the maintenance of onsite and offsite storage of client related materials
  • Delivery, pickup, and filing of client materials
  • Assisting with data conversions and related database clean-up projects

Must be a team player with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to effect established procedures and prioritize effectively. Must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral), effective customer service and interpersonal skills. The position requires excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Elite records application preferred, but not required. Must be able to type 35 wpm and lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds comfortably. High School diploma or equivalency required.
