The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of complex litigation experience with an emphasis on large case management and organization, including trial preparation, document production, discovery and trial exhibits. Looking for candidates that have experience with the following: drafting notices, summonses and affidavits; administering and overseeing document inspections at the request of an attorney; researching and analyzing case law; shepardizing cases and cite checking briefs; communicating with court personnel regarding the status of cases; electronic editing of documents relating to litigation; proofreading documents to be filed in court; and indexing mass amounts of documents.
Must be a highly organized and detail-oriented person. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, the ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong workflow prioritization skills are all requirements. Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels within the organization and externally. Experience with document review and storage programs such as Relativity and Textmap is essential. Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification required. EEO/AA/M/F/V/D.
